The Ray Lodge School Home Association was first started in Spring 1990 and has proved to be a fantastic partnership with the School.  Every parent, whose child attends Ray Lodge, automatically becomes a member of the RLSHA.  Over the years they have raised lots of money which has benefited the pupils and staff alike.

Regular events take place during the school year.  These include:

  • Halloween Disco
  • Christmas Bazaar
  • KS1/KS2 Discos
  • Easter Raffle
  • Non-Uniform Days
  • Quiz Night
  • School Play Productions
  • Summer Fayre

With the monies raised last year (2007-2008) the school received; ICT scanners, plants and shrubs for the Nursery garden; Guinea pig equipment/outdoor play equipment/storage units for Reception; books, games for KS1; Games/classroom resources and Toe by Toe books for KS2; Rollerbowl end of term trip and football kit for Year 6.

An annual AGM (Annual General Meeting) is held in September where committee members and parents meet to discuss events for the year ahead.  If you would like to become more involved with the RLSHA please speak to Miss Jo De-Gallerie or leave a message/telephone number in the main office and she will get back to you.  Thank you to everyone who has supported our fund-raising events throughout the year.  It really does benefit our children!
